The Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan, presided by Judge Anna Danibekyan, concluded the discussion of the motions submitted by the advocacy team of the second President of the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan.
It should be noted that the lawyers presented motions to replace Kocharyan’s arrest with the personal guarantee of the former Prime Ministers of the Republic of Armenia and Artsakh, to eliminate the detention and to meet the motions to grant bail to him. The documents were submitted to the court on 16 March, 24 April and 17 April, respectively.
Former Prime Ministers of the Republic of Armenia Vazgen Manukyan, Khosrov Harutyunyan, Karen Karapetyan and former Prime Minister of Artsakh Anushavan Danielyan appeared in court today as personal guarantors.
After hearing all the parties to the trial, the court left to the deliberation room to make a decision. The judicial act will be published on 13 May, at 17:50.
