Nazeli Baghdasaryan, a member of the National Assembly, issued a statement saying:
“Yesterday, a number of media outlets touched upon the issue of spreading Covid-19 in the National Assembly. My name was circulated, for which I present this clarification.
No one is insured, and if that spreads, believe me, each of us may be at risk. But even then, let us be tolerant and respect the information about the other person’s private life. Unfortunately, some media outlets, violating the ethics, yesterday mentioned the personal data of my assistant and emphasized that she was the infected person in the National Assembly. Since she later publicly confirmed the fact, I have to urge everyone to stop discussing this topic.
I wish good health and speedy recovery to all the patients, as well as once again express words of gratitude to the medical staff. We will overcome the difficult period together.
I have already received the answer to my test, it is negative.”
