As of 2 May, 85 patients are being treated for coronavirus at Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital, 79 of whom are residents of Shirak region. According to the instruction, 16 samples of 16 citizens from Shirak, who were isolated for 14 days, were tested and the sampling showed a positive result. 16 patients are currently in Gyumri Infectious Diseases Hospital.

The number of patients transferred to Yerevan is 19, in total 18 patients have recovered and have been discharged from the hospital. At the moment, 305 citizens have instructions for isolation and self-isolation in Shirak region.
