On April 28, a heated altercation broke out between NA Deputy Speaker Alen Simonyan, and MP from Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the “Bright Armenia’ Faction, during which the deputies exchanged personal insults.
Alen Simonyan particularly said, “Mrs. Samsonyan, I apologize, but I’m married, I suggest you talk less about me, it is unpleasant. I always have the impression that you have a mania. But I will not answer you, I will answer Edmon Marukyan, who is hiding behind your skirt…”
Alen Simonyan noted that he apologizes for the words he said.
