The Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a sitting of the Commission for Coordination of Activities to Prevent the Spread of Coronavirus in the Republic of Armenia.

Deputy Prime Minister, Commandant in the Emergency Situations Tigran Avinyan touched upon the measures taken within the framework of the policy to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection and further actions. In particular, they touched upon issues related to the organization of work in other spheres of economic, social, educational, cultural and public life. Views on the manageability of the epidemiological problem, the possibilities of mitigating the restrictions on movement and economic activity, the control mechanisms and a number of other issues were exchanged.

As a result of the meeting, the relevant decisions of the Commandant will be made in the near future.
