Gegharkunik Governor Gnel Sanosyan issued a statement saying:
“Dear residents of Gegharkunik region.
I would like to inform you that the double test of a patient with coronavirus registered 2 days ago is NEGATIVE.
Taking into account the current situation, the doctors came to the conclusion that there is a need to do the third test. We will know those results tomorrow.
My request to you, especially these days, is to follow only the MEDICAL NEWS, to be a literate in media, not to give misinformation to websites with provocative content, to be prudent and not to cause unnecessary tension and panic.
We work more than transparently for the safety and health of each of us.
