Unfortunately, the flood of e-mails revealed the sad reality. Hundreds of citizens of the Republic of Armenia send e-mails to the relevant authorities in Armenian, which are written in foreign letters. This is a disrespectful attitude towards the state language of the Republic of Armenia, Armenian.
The Language Committee calls on the citizens of the Republic of Armenia to comply with the requirements of the RA Constitution, the RA Law on Language, and to write Armenian e-mails addressed to state administration and local self-government bodies exclusively in Armenian letters.
The Language Committee calls on the state administration and local self-government bodies not to process the letters in Armenian language ոռիտտեն in foreign letters received from the citizens of the Republic of Armenia.
