There are 6 people infected with coronavirus in Tavush region. Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan announced this in a Facebook post.

The situation in Tavush is under control. At the moment we have 6 infected people who are in the appropriate medical institutions, they feel good. We wish them a successful recovery. 96 people are isolated in the region, 188 are self-isolated.

These days we are doing everything to solve the urgent social problems of our residents, mainly by providing food packages. To date, more than 2,000 families and more than 1,200 children have been provided with food aid. This is an ongoing process every day. Thanks to all the participants.

At the same time, our residents have started registering for social assistance programs. Please be active in this direction, and if you have problems, contact the hotline of the regional administration, or just write to us in any way.

These days we have distributed more than 100 computers and tablets to our schoolchildren. So much will be provided in the coming days.

The next major direction is to ensure the pace of economic development in Tavush, including supporting the government’s participation in economic promotion programs. I ask everyone to be more active, to apply to the Government’s support programs, or to apply to the regional administration in any way.
