Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed readiness to provide assistance to Armenia in the field of medicine.  Ermenihaber.am reported.

Erdogan informed during the telephone conversation with Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople Archbishop Sahak Mashalyan. The Armenian Patriarchate has issued a statement on the telephone conversation, from which it becomes clear that the conversation took place on Erdogan’s initiative. Erdogan noted that steps are being taken to provide assistance to Armenia in the field of medicine. The President of Turkey also touched upon the issue of returning of the Armenian citizens in Turkey to Armenia, noting that facilitation has been introduced in this issue.

During the conversation, Erdogan thanked the Armenian community for providing assistance to the “Biz Bize Yeteriz Türkiyem” fundraising campaign.
