Press conference of the RA Police Deputy Chief Hayk Mhryan and Head of the Anti-Corruption and Penitentiary Policy Development Department of the Ministry of Justice Arpine Sargsyan was being held at the Government Press Center.

The restrictions on movement of persons in the territory of the Republic of Armenia and in case of violation of the rules of limitation were presented.

Arpine Sargsyan noted that the Law on Amendments and Addenda to the Administrative Offenses and Criminal Codes has been drafted and adopted by the National Assembly on 23 March.

In connection with the possible restrictions on free movement, the National Assembly also provided for administrative liability, as a fine ranging from 100,000 drams to 250,000 drams.

Arpine Sargsyan also presented the other penalties and liabilities.

“The police is urging citizens through patrols, are sending messages to follow the instructions of the Commandant and require citizens to follow the order set by the Commandant and ask citizens to comply with the Commandant’s instructions. They also have exceptions, which are also provided in the order of the Commandant as to which entities serving economic activities have the right to operate, how their employees should be represented at work, state employees as well, and that a specific form has been developed for citizens so that citizens in urgent need, if it is within the range of the order of the Commandant, what documents do they need to have in order to convince the inspecting officer,” Hayk Mhryan said.
