There are already 102 People infected with Coronavirus in Armenia: Nikol Pashinyan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced in “Prospect” program booth of “Shant” TV that there are already 102 people infected with coronavirus in Armenia.

“75 percent of the 102 infected people come from two sources, related to Echmiadzin and to the workshop,” he said, adding that it was decided to suspend the process of restricting departure from Echmiadzin and carrying out thermometry of People will be suspended from 8 p.m. today, considering the fact that the cases did not fall out of the range of communication contact with the approved patient about a week ago. He noted that work is currently being done related to the “workshop case”.

The Prime Minister noted that the workshop is located in Shengavit, where the coronavirus outbreak is linked to an instructor from Italy.

“He has concealed his real state by drinking antipyretic drugs. He spent 1-2 days in the workshop, after which he left Armenia and left such a consequence,” Pashinyan said.

Pashinyan says there is no “rumor” about Coronavirus in Armenia as such, “It is an evidence of public confidence in the government.”

Pashinyan also said that the government will soon provide 150 billion AMD assistance to the economy.

“…25 billion drams will be allocated for the program that the companies that will take loans from Armenian banks in monetary terms to pay their employees’ salaries and for other issues, the government will co-finance 50% of that loan with 0%, and percentage of bank sector will be subsidized,” the Prime Minister said.
