Prime Minister Anna Hakobyan’s coronavirus test is negative, she returned to Yerevan from Sevan on 16 March.
Anna Hakobyan’s spokeswoman Hasmik Harutyunyan released a statement.
“Amidst the widespread concerns in the Internet, I am informing you that the Ms Anna Hakobyan, the spause of the Prime Minister of Armenia also passed a coronavirus test in the evening on 15 March, the result of which was negative.
Anna Hakobyan has been in Yerevan since 16 March.
Due to the spread of the Coronavirus and the establishment of a State of Emergency in the Republic of Armenia, Anna Hakobyan postponed all meetings for indefinite time. As we have been informed, the “My Step” Foundation is considering the possibility to support the vulnerable elderly people. Currently, the Foundation staff conducts consultations and surveys to understand their needs; further work will also be specified. As the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Fund Anna Hakobyan coordinates these activities from home.
At the same time, assuming social responsibility, the Prime Minister’s wife applied to the RA Ministry of Health yesterday for volunteer work.
