The main topic of the consultation was the actions and responsibilities of the police during the state of emergency declared in the republic.
Arman Sargsyan welcomed the presents and noted that alongside the fight against crime, the police are also involved in the fight against coronavirus.
Issues related to the placement of police posts in the republic during the state of emergency were discussed. It was decided to set up a working group in the police to coordinate the work.
It was noted that the medical staff of the republic will be assisted by the medical staff of the police.
Instructions were also given to work with the mass media.
The issue of protection from the epidemic of police officers during the service was also discussed. Appropriate instructions were given in this regard.
The Acting Chief of Police noted that in parallel with the service, the police should fully exercise the powers provided for by law, and specific instructions and directions were given as part of the fight against crime.
Other issues related to police during the state of emergency were also discussed during the consultation.
