The Municipality of Yerevan has issued a statement saying:

“Dear citizens, attention!

Although the municipality of Yerevan has set an extra special duty to exclude illegal outdoor trade on a daily basis, and these days, some citizens continue their activity, ignoring the law and measures aimed at preventing the new coronavirus.

Therefore, the municipality warns and urges not to buy food in the street, on the sidewalks. They are considered to be high-risk, dangerous products without proper storage conditions, which may contain viral elements. There is no quality control over such products.

Protect and do not endanger your health.”
