Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said live that new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed.
He said 28 out of 31 people in quarantine would go home today because their test results were negative. Two of them have been confirmed to have a coronavirus who will go to the hospital, and one whose family member is confirmed with coranovirus will remain isolated.
“The bad news is that 3 more citizens isolated from Echmiadzin have been diagnosed with coronavirus. The good thing is that it has been approved among the isolated citizens,” the Prime Minister said.
At present, the number of patients with coronavirus is 13.
He revealed new details about the already well known engagement party in Echmiadzin. “After the registration, specialists and doctors visited them. She assured that she had no complaints, after which they called her several times but she and her husband assured that they had no problems. They even were asked to come for taking temperature, and they said they were not sick to undergo such procedure and there was a conflict situation,” Nikol Pashinyan said.
The Prime Minister reminded once again that the Minister of Justice had been instructed to develop measures to have levers in such cases.
He also touched upon the recent visit to Brazil of his wife, Anna Hakoban. “We were a little disappointed yesterday because there was news that one of the assistants of the Brazilian president had been confirmed with coronavirus, and the president also passed a test and is awaiting the response. Knowing this yesterday, we decided to isolate, of course not immediately, because today there was some work that I just could not do and tonight we were on the way to Sevan and saw the headline that coronavirus was confirmed at the Brazilian President. You know that on March 7, Anna met with the wife of the President of Brazil and posted a photo. We came to Sevan to isolate and the first thing we did was to measure the temperatures and to be frank we were very happy,” the Prime Minister said.
Nikol Pashinyan informed that he and Anna Hakobyan will pass the coronavirus test.
