Age adds Glory to a Man: Gevorg Petrosyan about the Judge’s Age Threshold

On March 4, the Draft on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Constitutional Law of the RA Judicial Code is being debated at the sitting of the National Assembly.

“Prosperous Armenia” faction MP Gevorg Petrosyan first called on MPs to refrain from considering the speeches of other MPs “meaningless.”

He then referred to the minimum age threshold of 25 years for judges, noting that at that age one should not have the right to determine the fate of another person, regardless of their professional background. “Age adds to the glory to a man,” he said.
