Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has issued a statement saying:

Dear compatriots,

1. Today’s march dedicated to the 1 March victims is being canceled.
2. Our compatriot infected with coronavirus is fine, even without fever.
3. The process of isolation of the people contacted with the patient is coming to an end. They are all in a cooperative mood, for which I express my gratitude.
4. It turned out that the patient did not board a taxi after arriving in Tehran. He went home from the airport with an acquaintance’s car arriving on the same plane, and was taken from home to the hospital by the ambulance, which is good because the potential range of contacts has been significantly narrowed.
5. 5. Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan, as I said, will hold a press conference at 12:00 and answer all questions.
