Today, at 9:13 am, the CEC received a request to register as a party to “No” advocacy campaign. Secretary of the Central Election Commission Armen Smbatyan reports.

It should be noted that the Law on Referendum stipulates that the procedure for compiling and maintaining the lists of citizens eligible to participate in the referendum, the inclusion of citizens in the lists, the requirements for the lists, access to the lists, applications on the examination of inaccuracies and the correction of lists, are provided by the Constitutional Law “Electoral Code of the Republic of Armenia” in accordance with the procedure established for the elections to the National Assembly.

Persons who are not parties to the “YES” or “NO” campaign may carry out participate in voting for “YES” or “NO” campaign, as well as abstain from voting.
