The court hearing on the case of Davit Sanasaryan and the former employees of the State Supervision Service of the Republic of Armenia (the service temporarily suspended) is taking place today at the Shengavit residence of the Yerevan Court of First Instance.

Former SSS officials Gevorg Khachatryan, Samvel Adyan and Acting Director of “Zorashen” LLC Taron Avetisyan are also involved in the case.

Judge David Balayan is presiding the hearing.

Davit Sanasaryan’s defenders filed a motion to the court to terminate the prosecution of their client, noting that the preliminary investigation of the case had been conducted with substantial procedural violations. According to them, the case should have been investigated by the SIS and not the NSS.

The court rejected the motion.
