On 28 January, at 02:55 am, the Second Garrison Investigation Division of the Republic of Armenia, initiated a criminal case in accordance with Article 110 (1) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia on the fact of the gunshot wound to the chest of the Compulsory military serviceman Never Arman Avetisyan. Preliminary investigation is in process.

This is reported by the Investigative Committee.

Necessary investigative and procedural actions are taken to ensure a comprehensive, thorough and objective investigation of the case.

Note: A person that is suspected or accused of an alleged crime is considered innocent until his/her guilt is proved by a court judgment that has come into legal effect pursuant to the procedure determined by RA Criminal Procedure Code.
