Amram Makinian, a lawyer for Hrayr Tovmasyan, said that his client had read Nikol Pashinyan’s “disproportionate strong counterblow” and had asked his defenders to prepare a lawsuit.
Earlier, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan posted on his Facebook page:
“This is Hrayr Tovmasyan’s pen. I had been thinking for a long time whether to throw it in the garbage bin or not.
In the end, I decided to keep it as a testimony to the most unusual flattery I’ve seen.
For the first time since being elected Prime Minister, I met Hrayr Tovmasyan at the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Board of Trustees meeting in May 2018. He was sitting next to me.
Mr. Tovmasyan’s blatant behavior towards me seemed strange, as he was a man whose actions caused a crash of his longtime political team just days before.
I was addressing me only using expressions as “Mr. Pashinyan Jan”, “Mr. Prime Minister Jan”. Those “jams” (dear) are still in my ear till now. By the way, throughout the history of our contact, I have not been otherwise addressed exclusively with this “jan”.
Then he suddenly remembered and found it important to emphasize that he was the son-in-law of Ijevan (his wife is from Ijevan).
Then I had to make a note, I couldn’t find my pen, I don’t remember – whether I asked him for the pen or he saw that I was looking for a pen, and suggested his this “elite” pen to me.
I made notes, made my speech, and my attempts to return the pen to him became a story. Like it is your pen, I beg you very much to take please and so on. It was already becoming an inept story in front of the cameras.
In short, this pen remained with me as a ” pledge of faithfulness “. Now, I think, that when I took the pen, my subconscious worked to have an “actual fact” today.
Anyway, after that I started receiving applications for admission. I didn’t accept.
I refused, several times because I understood that the person occupying the Constitutional Court wanted legitimacy.
Then we met at the 2019 Christmas liturgy. He began to fawn to Anna saying ‘thank you, for giving my daughter a scholarship.’ When I saw that fawning is exceeding the limit, I said we didn’t know who it was. Although, it turned out they didn’t really know (let’s just say that knowing or not knowing was not important as the decision is a matter of clear standards).
Then the person I referenced recently cited came to me several times and reported that Hrayr says ‘I wrote this Constitution, why the Prime Minister is not using my potential.
In response, I suggested him go somewhere far away.”
