Armenian Ucom CJSC, a provider of landline and mobile services in Armenia, has approved the fact related to discussing the a possible deal with World Leading VEON Ltd company (NASDAQ and Euronext Amsterdam) on selling the latter’s the latter’s Armenian business (Beeline trademark).
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan touched upon the issue during the NA question and answer session, as MP Gor Gevorgyan expressed concern that the merger might affect the increase in the tariff for the provided services.
