By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin the rector of the Emergency Situations Ministry of the Ministry of Emergency Situations SNCO, Major-General of the Rescue Service Hamlet Matevosyan was awarded the Diploma for Active Participation in Strengthening the Military and Political Integration of the CSTO Member States.

By another decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Head of the International Cooperation Division of the Emergency Situations Policy Development and International Cooperation Department Aghvan Sargsyan, was awarded the Medal for Enhancing Collective Security.

On 21 January, Minister of Emergency Situations Feliks Tsolakyan solemnly handed the medal and diploma to the staff.
