Gagik Khachatryan was hospitalized

Former RA Minister of Finance, former SRC Chairman Gagik Khachatryan was taken to “Asghtik” MC. His lawyers’ team reported.

His lawyers’ team informed that there was a need for medical care the day before, and doctors had recorded the need for cardiology and other urgent examinations and treatments. This morning Gagik Khachatryan was taken from Yerevan prison to “Astghik” medical center and is currently under the supervision of doctors.

Gagik Khachatryan has been in custody for almost six months. He is charged with the alleged abuse of office and property misappropriated during his activity in the period of 2008-2014. His lawyers say the detention is illegal.
