The October 27 Criminal Case will be re-examined

RA Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan has satisfied the appeal of Anahit Bakhshyan’s lawyer against the decision to terminate the October 27 criminal case. Former MP Anahit Bakhshyan posted this on her Facebook page.

“Please be informed that I received today Response to my appeal of 18․12․2019 against the October 27 decision to dismiss the criminal case. It was satisfied on the basis of my lawyer Zaruhi Mezhlumyan’s well-reasoned, 37-page complaint. This means that the case of the organizers and sponsors of the October 27 terrorist act against the Armenian state will be re-examined. That is, it means that the Republic of Armenia is acting as a victim of this state terror and will do its best to expose the enemies of our state, whether inside or outside. We will closely follow the process. ”

It should be reminded that on 27 October, 1999, the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia was attacked during a question and answer session with the Government in the presence of members of the Government. As a result of the terrorist act, RA NA Speaker Karen Demirchyan, Prime Minister Vazgen Sargsyan, Yuri Bakhshyan and 5 other state figures and MPs were killed, 8 were injured and 91 were taken prisoner.
