Today, the RA Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan received the Armenian participants – award winners of the International Youth Competition of Social Anti-Corruption Advertising “Together against Corruption!” organised among the 10 member states of the BRICS Interstate Council on Combating Corruption, as well as the students of the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders of the SCOs Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia.
In the first stage of the competition the RA National Jury selected the best three works in each nomination. In addition to the above mentioned, among them were the video clips and posters presented by Kh. Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University, representatives of State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia, and the students of the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders.
All the winners were awarded letters of appreciation by the orders of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia for being awarded prizes as a result of the competition, for their active participation in public awareness activities against corruption and for active cooperation with the Prosecutor General’s Office in the scope of the competition.
During the meeting with the youth the RA Prosecutor General handed them the letters of gratitude, congratulated everyone and wished them success in their studies, work and appreciated their efforts to promote consistency and civic activism in the rooting of the idea of intolerance against corruption. Arthur Davtyan also expressed gratitude for presenting Armenia with high quality works in the framework of the competition. According to the Prosecutor General, it is important that ideas expressed through video clips and posters become the lifestyle of the younger generation especially and thus helping the state in its mission of eradicating corruption.
