www.Politik.am website recently published the news: “The person who wiretapped Vanetsyan’s and Khachatryan’s Telephone Conversation  was arrested. He is a Russian citizen.” The IC presented its clarification on the issue:

“In connection with the publication, we inform that there is no person having the status of a suspect in the criminal case under investigation in connection with the wiretapping and publication of the telephone conversation between the former head of the National Security Service Arthur Vanetsyan and SIS Sasun Khachatryan. No one has been arrested in the criminal case.

We call on Politik.am’s partners to refrain from publishing information that is untrue,” the statement reads.
