On 26 November, Edgar Shatiryan, a member of the Corruption Prevention Committee, announced that he would resign.
On the same day, the Committee elected the Chair. Shatiryan was had been nominated, but was not elected. Speaking to Iravaban.net Shatiryan said that the reason was not to be elected Chair.

We had informed earlier that Haykuhi Harutyunyan, representative of the “Bright Armenia” faction, and Edgar Shatiryan, representative of the “My Step” faction, nominated themselves as candidates for the Chair of the Committee.
As a result of the voting, the committee decided to elect Haykuhi Harutyunyan as Chair.
