Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan posted a video on his Facebook page showing several men hitting a citizen. The video is titled: “The police are extorting evidence with a gas mask and a baton.”
“Criminal proceedings should be initiated immediately on this video. All investigative actions should be conducted exclusively within the framework of the procedure provided by the RA Criminal Procedure Code.
Tomorrow morning, a corresponding official letter with my signature will be sent to the prosecution body. The process will be under my attention to the fullest extent of the Ombudsman’s competence,” Arman Tatoyan wrote.
