Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan issued a statement saying:
“The Azerbaijani side is apparently provocative against the background of the CIS Defense Ministers meeting in Baku, causing tension on the state border of Armenia. We call on the Azerbaijani side to refrain from provocations and we note that the provocations will not go unanswered, but after the session.”
Notably, yesterday night and early in the morning in Tavush, the enemy fired at various villages and military positions from various caliber weapons. The enemy was silent after the response. There are no casualties from the Armenian side.
