The Supreme Judicial Council has been informed about the incident with the participation of the RA Administrative Court Judge Artur Avagyan.

We are confident that the participants in the case will display a restrained conduct appropriate to the civil servant, refraining from any statements regarding the case. We urge media representatives at this stage to refrain from publicizing and commenting on the incident until all circumstances of the incident have been clarified.
It should be noted that on 26 October, the emergency rescue team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, at the scene of the incident, near Arinj Mall, asked the driver of a Mazda 12 NN 021 car to let them pass, but the driver got out of the car and attacked the rescuers at their rescues showing a weapon-like object and turned it in their direction.
Hours later, prior to the police found the car, a 35-year-old Arthur Avagyan, a resident of Yerevan, came to the Kotayk Police Department and reported that he was driving Mazda and had a Bruni 84-type pistol, but he had not directed the pistol in anyone’s direction, and did not threaten anyone.
