Deputy Justice Minister Tigran Khachikyan issued a statement which reads:

Dear Compatriots, I would like to inform you about the termination of my office in the position of Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia. Of course, the unprecedented political will to fight against corruption, to achieve  fundamental reform of the penitentiary system, has many destinations for implementation.

Throughout this time, I have tried to fulfill my share in this commitment, and as a result of the combined efforts of our general team about two months before the set time, among many other drafts,  both the draft strategies for the anti-corruption as well as penitentiary sector reforms are almost ready, as conceptual documents focused on the sustainable reforms of the areas. I express my gratitude to the Prime Minister for trust. God protect us all.
