In accordance with Article 166, Part 1, Article 213 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and Article 141, Part 3 of the Constitutional Law “The Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly”, the President of the Republic nominated Gor Hovhannisyan for the vacant position of the Constitutional Court.

According to Article 141 (5) of the Constitutional Law “The Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly”, the issue of electing judge of the Constitutional Court’s will be discussed at the first sitting of the regular National Assembly to be convened on April 16.
