Some of the former high-ranking officials have announced in the social networks about conducting activities in the public or private sectors.

On 8 February, the former Vice-President of the National Assembly, Former Minister of Justice Arpine Hovhannisyan has founded the “Legal Education and Control” NGO. The newly opened NGO is located at 1 Charents str.,Yerevan.

The Charter states that the NGO will engage in human rights protection, anti-corruption, freedom of media, the independence of the judiciary and other areas.

The organization will cooperate with the State and Local Government bodies, international organizations to carry out its objectives and will engage in entrepreneurial activities as well.

Ruben Melikyan , the former human rights defender of Artsakh, former Deputy Minister of Justice of the RA, also has registered a non-governmental organization. The “Path of Law” Human Rights NGO was registered on 6 February; the place of business is 4/1 Aygestan 9.

Ruben Melikyan is the President of the organization.

The Charter states that the NGO will engage in human rights activities (notably, they will also be targeted at the rights of Artsakh residents), anti-corruption and other spheres.
