MP Ani Samsonyan informs that Edmon Marukyan, head of the NA “Bright Armenia” Faction, has been appointed member of two PACE Committees, member of the Committee on the Election of Judges to the European Court of Human Rights and member of the Monitoring Committees.

“On 25 January, the PACE Bureau has confirmed his candidacy as a key member of the Committee on the Election of Judges to the European Court of Human Rights. The candidacy was presented by the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe Party (ALDE Party) in PACE. Only three permanent members from the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe Party (ALDE Party) are included in the Committee, and the entire committee consists of twenty-one key members representing all the PACE political groups. The PACE Bureau has approved Edmon Marukyan’s nomination as a key member of the Monitoring Committee. The candidacy was again presented by the he Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe Party (ALDE Party) in PACE,” she said.
