We find inadmissible the attempts to transfer the tragedy that took place as a result of domestic crime to the interethnic plane. We express our deep condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased, hoping that the investigation will reveal the whole situation and the perpetrators will be punished.

The Armenian community of Kazakhstan has historically played an important role in the various spheres of life of the republic, so such incidents should not affect the future of the community and the warm and friendly relations between the two peoples. The RA Ministry of Diaspora follows closely the recent developments in the city of Karaganda in Kazakhstan, is in constant contact with representatives of the local Armenian community and expresses its deep concern over the incident.
