October 6 will be a Day of Mourning in Armenia

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has signed a decree on October 4, which reads:

“According to Article 7 (5) of the Law on the Government Structure and Activities,

  1. In connection with the death of the National Hero of Armenia, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the United Nations Office at Geneva and other international organizations, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Swiss Confederation, the famous singer, composer, writer, filmmaker and public figure Charles Aznavour, announce 6 October, 2018, a Day of Mourning in the Republic of Armenia.
  2. Instruct the heads of public administration bodies of the Republic of Armenia and recommend community leaders to comply with the requirements of Article 4 of the Law on the State Flag of the Republic of Armenia.
