Head of Police Passport and Visa Department Mnatsakan Bichakhchyan writes that the RA citizens have the right to participate in the local self-government elections with the following documents,

1. Identification card,
2. Biometric passport
3. Non-Biometric passport,
4. Temporary document replacing the passport or identification card.

“IT IS NECESSARY TO NOTE:

If a citizen has one document with expired validity period, he/she can participate in the voting.

– If a citizen has a valid passport with valid expiration date and a valid identification card and/or biometric passport, he/she will not be able to participate in voting with an invalid passport. The citizen shall come to electoral precinct with an identification card or a biometric passport.”
