On 25 June, Ms Nvard Khachatryan, member of the Founding Board of “Meghri Women’s Resource Center” NGO presented the “Budget for Everyone” Project, which is implemented in the framework of Public Finance Subsector sub-grant component of the EU-funded “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” Project to 28 representatives of Goris Civil Society Organisations.

She spoke about the creation of the “Winnet Armenia” Network of Women Resource Centers, the CSOs involved in it and further presented the sub-grant program to be implemented.

Nvard Khachatryan in her speech highlighted the role and activities of local NGOs in the sense that they have a better knowledge of the existing problems and their role to ensure the sustainability of the project and conduct monitoring after its accomplishment is really great. According to her, the sub-project will be implemented in the new Armenia, and in all the regions of the project the latter will have local coordinators who will ensure continuity.

The participants discussed the issue of the public discussion of the budget as well. CSO representatives talked about the proposals they made during those discussions, as well as the inactivity of the public.

Nvard Khachatryan assured that monitoring will be implemented in the course of the sub-grant project.  Training, providing information, revealing the problems and as well as ensuring continuity will be carried out as well.

The Civil Society Organisations (CSO) incubators are aimed at promoting CSO capacity building and enhancing their productivity.
