“Yesterday after the Prime Minister’s speech, as well as the release of the NSS video in the evening, I was surprised to hear that at the moment of committing Manvel Grigoryan’s defense, in addition to the suspicion of illegal possession of weapons in the composition of a group, there are other circumstances that I have not been informed before. Even the preliminary investigation body did not have such suspicion and did not provide materials. Under the current circumstances, I do not find it appropriate to continue providing legal assistance to M. Grigoryan, and on my recommendation, with Manvel Grigoryan’s consent (which is mandatory by the law), the preliminary investigation body recorded this fact a few minutes ago, and I stopped being his defender.”
