Mane Tandilyan, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs described her first day of work.

“Dear Compatriots,

Today is my first working day as the Minister.

I have had discussions on many issues in the field and how to deal with them. I will present our plans in the near future.

I have received numerous complaints and reports on the abuses and omissions in the process of granting pensions and allowances, and the employees of the Ministry, in particular those involved in the provision of pensions and allowances, are notified:

I will be relentless toward corrupt practices,

In carrying out the work duties, they should exclusively be guided by the requirements of the law, any financial, material misuse, abuse of official position in the field, are strictly punishable. At the same time, I ask the citizens of the Republic of Armenia to apply to the law enforcement agencies immediately or to call at the Ministry’s Hotline number 114 if there is any abuse.

Each one of us should be involved in solving problems so that the shortcomings and vicious phenomena in the field become history. We will do our best to have our dream come true the day before.”
