By the decree of RA President Armen Sargsyan, Vladimir Gasparyan was relieved of the post of the Chief of Police.

“Based on the Prime Minister’s proposal, in pursuant to Article 133 (1) of the Constitution and Article 13 (2) of the RA Law on Police Service.

To release Vladimir GASPARYAN from the office of the Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia,”the decree reads.

“I just signed a petition to the President of Armenia on dismissing Vladimir Gasparyan from the position of the Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia, and Georgi Kutoyan from the position of the NSS Director,” Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this a couple of hours ago.
