At present, the “Zvartnots” International Airport is operating normally. The spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Department Ms. Hovhannisyan confirmed this information in the interview with Iravaban.net.

“We have had only one canceled flight “Istanbul-Yerevan” of Globallavia. Airline companies carry out their flights in all other directions,”  Satenik Hovhannisyan said.

In response to our question whether the blockade of the streets now hinders the work of the airport, she said that we can follow the departure and arrival schedule of the official website of “Zvartnots” airport to make sure that the flights are carried out in time.

Notably, the streets adjacent to the airport are closed. There are also police officers on the main road.
