On 25 April, the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) faction convened a session to discuss the issue of extraordinary parliamentary elections.

Vahram Baghdasaryan, leader of the faction, told reporters after the session. “The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) is united and will express its opinion in the nearest future,” he said and added that today in the evening or tomorrow, the RPA will make a statement on its position. “We are the majority in the National Assembly and make a decision about the PM’s candidate.”
