Lieutenant Colonel of Customs Service Suren Ghazaryan, 41, is the head of the SRC Northern Customs-Department since 2017. He started working in the customs service since 2003. Prior to that, in 1995-98 he was the head of store number 216 of “Yerhatsar” CJSC, 98-2002 – director of “Tonahats” OJSC, and in January-July 2002 he worked as a senior economist at “Permanplast” CJSC.
At the moment of assuming office Suren Ghazaryan decaled:
- one land plot,
- 100 million AMD (about $ 200,000) in cash,
- 2.7 million AMD received as remuneration.
According to the declaration, he lives with his spouse Hripsime Sargsyan, and three underage daughters. They have not yet made any declarations.
From the State Register of Legal Entities, we learn that “Gev Art” LLC has been operating since 2005, and the owner of 100% of its shares is Ms Gayane Haroyan, whose address is the same as Suren Ghazaryan’s registration address. She is also the director of this company since 2016. Prior to this, Koryun Ghazaryan was the director of the company, and his address is also identical to Suren Ghazaryan’s address. One can assume that Gayane Haroyan and Koryun Ghazaryan are the parents of the custom house department head.
We learn from the taxpayer system that this company’s business is temporarily suspended. We also learn that the company was involved in the operations of renting or leasing the real estate.
