The Winning CSOs of the Fourth Round of the Small Grants Competition are Known

On September 29th, 2016 the Grants Commission of the “Multi-Faceted Anti-Corruption Promotion” Project finalised the evaluation of the applications received in the 4th round of the Small Grants Competition.  

In total, 9 CSOs submitted grant project proposals for the 4th round of the competition: 1 from the Lori Marz, 1 from the Shirak Marz, 1 from the Ararat Marz, 1 from the Syunik Marz, 4 from the Gegharkunik Marz and 1 from Yerevan.

5 of the submitted proposals passed the minimal threshold of points and thus were selected by the Grants Commission of the Project as the winners of the 4th round of the Small Grants Competition. 

See below the list of the winning projects and the respective implementing organisations:

  1. “Monitoring of the Possibilities of Reducing Corruption Risks in the Processes of Public Procurement” project, implementer – “Decent Generation” Non-Governmental Organisation (Gegharkunik Marz);
  2. “Public Oversight and Monitoring of the RA 2012-2016 Strategic Programme for Legal and Judicial Reforms” project, implementer – “Centre for Social Technologies” Non-Governmental Organisation (Yerevan);
  3. “Accessible Education without Corruption Risks and Differentiated Approach” project, implementer – “Law for the Rule of Law” Non-Governmental Organisation (Syunik Marz);
  4. “Strengthening Public Oversight Mechanisms in the Ararat Marz” project, implementer – “Greens of Ararat Marz” Non-Governmental Organisation, partner – “Women’s Council of Ararat City” Non-Governmental Organisation (Ararat Marz);
  5. “Monitoring of Management Processes in Apartment Buildings of Vanadzor” project, implementer – “Centre of Condominiums of the Lori Marz” Non-Governmental Organisation (Lori Marz).

The Grants Commission of the “Multi-Faceted Anti-Corruption Promotion” Project would like to thank all the organisations that submitted small grant applications but were not selected. The Commission encourages them to apply for other grants competitions that might be announced by the “Armenian Lawyers’ Association” Non-Governmental Organisation in the future.

The “Multi-Faceted Anti-Corruption Promotion” project is funded by the European Union and co-funded by the OSCE Office in Yerevan. The project is implemented by the “Armenian Lawyers’ Association” NGO and its partner organisation “Freedom of Information Centre” NGO.
