On 23 July, President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree according to which the medal “Military Service” was posthumously awarded to serviceman of the NKR Defense Army N military unit Arsen Arakelyan for the courage demonstrated during the defense of the NKR state border.
As the NKR Ministry of Defense reports, this morning, at 10:55, Armenian serviceman Arsen Arayik Arakelyan was killed in shooting from Azerbaijani side at one of the military positions located to the south-eastern direction of the line of contact.
