On 30 May 2016, the Court of general Jurisdiction of Lori marz (presiding judge V. Hovnanyan) rejected the claim of “Avan” Mental Health Center CJSC against Helsinki Citizens Assembly Vanadzor Office and Zh. Amrikyan, and the third party “Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty” Armenian Service with request to oblige to publish public apology for publicizing the court decision in media and to levy the compensation fee for libel and defamation. The court also obliged the plaintiff to pay a state fee of 60,000 AMD. Helsinki Citizens Assembly Vanadzor Office reports.
