On 19 May, According to the agreement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, the OSCE mission shall conducted a planned monitoring on the line of contact of the Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan armed forces in the eastern direction of Martakert.
The monitoring of NKR Defense Army’s positions shall conduct the Personal Representative of OSCE Chairman-in-Office Peter Svedberg / Sweden /, and the personal assistant to the Chairman Simon Tilere (Great Britain), as well as the representative of the OSCE High-Level Planning Group (HLPG), Colonel Andrey Barashkin (Russia).
The NKR authorities expressed readiness to assist the monitoring and ensure the security of the OSCE representatives.
