On 10 May, the Human Rights defender of Artsakh Republic Ruben Melikyan accompanied by the representatives of the Ombudsman’s staff visited Mataghis and Talish Villages of Martakert region.
During the visit, the Ombudsman inspected the consequences of firing by the Azerbaijani armed forces, particularly the damages caused to civilian objects. The Ombudsman paid special attention to the fact that both in Mataghis and in Talish the enemy subjected to targeted bombardment the schools of the villages.
The Ombudsman and staff representatives also met with local residents, who expressed their concern regarding the attacks by the Azerbaijani armed forces.
